We’re a different kind of physical therapy practice than you’ve ever experienced. We only see one patient at time, and you’ll always spend a full hour with a licensed Physical Therapist—not aides or technicians. That means fewer appointments, faster healing, and a quicker return to the activities you love. It also means faster relief from pain. Sterner Physical Therapy is not currently a participating provider with any private insurance plans. Why? The answer is quite simple—we would not be able to provide the high level of care and individualized treatment that we do at the rates insurance companies currently pay for physical therapy treatment. (Medicare patients please call for more information about your Physical Therapy coverage).
Therapists at clinics that accept these insurance rates are required to see 2-3 patients per hour and usually spend an average of 15-20 minutes of one-on-one time with each patient while aides and technicians instruct patients in exercises. At Sterner Physical Therapy, you spend the entire hour with your therapist so that you will heal faster in fewer visits.
Upon request, Sterner Physical Therapy will provide you with a "Superbill" that you can submit for reimbursement for out-of-network services.
